I made a mistake and need to cancel my order. What do I do?
Call the store as soon as possible 604-669-9249 and if we haven't shipped your order we can cancel it. If it has already been shipped then you will need to return it. Please check out our Returns and Exchanges page to find out how.
When Will My Order Arrive?
If the order is placed before Sunday then it will be shipped out Tuesday by Canada Post. The arrival time depends on the shipment method that you choose and your location. Generally speaking, if you live in the lower Mainland, you will usually receive your order in 1 - 3 business days. If you live outside of the lower Mainland in British Columbia 3 - 5 business days. Outside of British Columbia can be anywhere from 5 - 13 business days. You will receive a tracking number from Canada Post so you can also track your package. For orders containing live plants please select Canada Post Xpresspost. It is a little bit more expensive but you don't want your plants to get stuck in a cold warehouse over a weekend...and that can happen when Regular Post is selected.
When Will My Plants Arrive?
If we have everything in stock, your order will be shipped out Tuesday and you should receive it by Thursday. If we need to order out of stock plants from Denmark for you, we will ship the following week. Orders are placed every Monday for arrival to the store the following Monday. It is best to have your order in by Sunday for delivery that week.
Sometimes either Aquariums West or Tropica is out of stock of a particular plant. We will continue to re-order the missing item, suggest substitutions or you can choose to cancel the item altogether.
For orders containing live plants please select Canada Post Xpresspost. It is a little bit more expensive but you don't want your plants to get stuck in a cold warehouse over a long weekend...and that has happened when Regular Post was selected. If the weather is particularly cold with minus temperatures we will hold off shipping until the weather improves.
