What’s New Terrarium Plants


We have just started to bring in some amazing exotic plants that are suitable for terrariums.   They are going very fast so we will be restocking them often.


04/24/19 Terrarium Plants ARRIVED!

  • Air plant – Tillandsia sp.
    Bright indirect light, high humidity, epiphytic
  • Algerian Ivy – Hedera algeriensis
    Bright light to part shade, likes evenly moist, well-drained soil but do not overwater, TOXIC do not plant in herbivorous animal habitats
  • Aluminum Plant – Pilea cadiere
    Likes bright indirect light, allow soil to dry slightly between watering
  • Boston Fern – Nephrolepis exaltata
    Likes partial shade, likes high humidity but do not allow soil to dry
  • Chinese Money Plant – Pilea peperomioides
    Likes bright indirect light, allow soil to dry slightly between watering
  • Club Moss – Selaginella sp.
    Likes a shady location but will tolerate bright indirect light, likes high humidity, do not let stand in excess water but do not let soil dry out either
  • Hedera Ivy – Hedera helix
    Bright light to part shade, likes evenly moist, well-drained soil but do not overwater, TOXIC do not plant in herbivorous animal habitats
  • Lipstick Plant – Aeschynanthus sp.
    Likes bright indirect light, allow soil to dry slightly between watering, do not let stand in excess water
  • Maidenhair Fern – Adiantum raddianum
    Bright indirect light to partial shade, likes high humidity, do not allow soil to dry out
  • Maidenhair Vine – Muehlenbeckia complexa
    Likes bright light but will tolerate most light levels, allow soil to dry slightly between watering
  • Monarch Fern – Phymatosorus scolopendria
    Likes partial to full shade, high humidity, do not allow soil to dry out
  • Nephthytis – Syngonium podophyllum
    Likes a shady location, allow soil to dry slightly between watering
  • Peace Lily – Spathiphyllum sp.
    Likes medium indirect light, soil can be allowed to dry slightly between watering, water if plant is droopy
  • Persian Shield Plant – Strobilanthes dyerianus
    Likes bright indirect light, allow soil to dry slightly between watering
  • Polypodiaceae sp.
    Likes a shady location, do not allow to stand in excess water but do not allow soil to dry either, likes high humidity
  • Purple-heart Plant – Tradescantia pallida
    Likes bright indirect light, allow soil to dry slightly between waterings
  • Polka Dot Plant – Hypoestes phyllostachya
    Likes bright indirect light to partial shade, do not allow soil to dry out
  • Ponytail Palm – Beaucarnea recurvata
    Likes bright indirect light, likes high humidity, allow soil to dry slightly between watering
  • Snake Plant – Sansevieria trifasciata
    Likes bright light but will tolerate any light level, allow soil to dry between waterings
  • Spear Orchid – Sansevieria boncel
    Likes bright light, allow soil to dry and then water deeply, but do not let stand in excess water
